FIELD & MAIN BANK’S CFO, DAVID SARTORE, RE-ELECTED TO FHLB
September 19, 2017
David Sartore, CFO and Executive Vice President of Field & Main Bank, has been re-elected to the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Cincinnati as a Kentucky Member Director. Sartore will serve a four-year term beginning in January 2018 alongside fellow incumbent, Greg W. Caudill.
Sartore is humbled by the re-election and honored to serve FHLB Cincinnati: “To become a member director, you have to be elected by the members from the state of Kentucky. It’s gratifying to know that your banking contemporaries allow you to lead the FHLB. But what’s most important to me is the FHLB mission and what it does for the communities it serves. It’s a rewarding experience.”
FHLB Cincinnati is a wholesale bank serving communities in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio. It is one of 12 FHLBs in the United States. The organization’s mission is to provide reliable liquidity to member institutions to support housing finance and community investment. The national organization was created by an act of Congress in 1932.
Sartore has served the Field & Main Bank organization (then Ohio Valley Financial Group) for 25 years. He earned his B.A. in accounting from the University of Southern Indiana and holds an honors diploma in banking operations from the Graduate School of Banking – BAI.
An active community member, Sartore has previously served as the board chairman of the University of Southern Indiana’s Varsity Club and the Volunteer and Information Center of Henderson, Kentucky. He and his wife, Sharon, are Henderson residents. They have two children.
