    Mike Smith, former Agriculture Agent for Henderson County, joins the Field & Main Trust Services team as a farm management consultant. Smith worked with the University of Kentucky’s College of Agriculture for 40 years, spending 25 of those years as a Henderson County Agriculture Agent. His 15 years as a 4H agent earned Mike state and national 4H awards for distinguished service. Mike’s commitment to agriculture has been recognized by the Kentucky Farm Bureau and the state and national agriculture associations. He is a Henderson County Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
    As a farm management consultant to Field & Main, Smith provides the bank regular crop and environmental reports, with emphasis on planting, growth, disease monitoring, and soil analysis and conservation. His skilled work supports the bank’s efforts to keep Field & Main farm owners’ farm yields at their absolute optimum.

    Smith is a graduate of Murray State University with a B.S. in Agriculture and Biology.
