The W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival celebrates a major milestone in 2015 – the 25th year of the event. It also marks another significant highpoint, announcing the first-ever presenting sponsor for the event, Field & Main Bank.

Field & Main Bank recently formed through the merger of Ohio Valley Financial Group and BankTrust Financial, organizations with a long history of supporting the W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival.

"The Handy Festival is a breeding ground for talent and shines a spotlight on extraordinary musicians and their craft," said Scott P. Davis, chairman & CEO of Field & Main Bank. "We are thrilled to support the 25th year of this event – an event that energizes not only our home crowd of Henderson, but draws hundreds of visitors and drives significant economic impact to our community every year," he added.

The festival kicks off Saturday, June 13, and runs through Saturday, June 20. The line-up includes a variety of artists – from up-and-comers, like Samantha Fish, Jarekus Singleton and Victor Wainright, to headliners, including Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Doyle Bramhall II, and Devon Allman Band, as well as crowd favorites, such as Ronnie Baker Brooks Big Band and Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band.

"The support from Field & Main Bank, our presenting sponsor, is significant," said Steve Gold, W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival board president. "It demonstrates not only the bank's commitment to enhancing and sustaining this great event, but it shows tremendous support for bringing world-class artists and inspiring experiences to our community."
