Safeguard personal information by not sharing it in public forums (i.e. social media)
Do not respond to any phone calls, texts, or social media messages requesting personal information (SS#, date of birth, address, account #’s, or PIN#)
Know that we will never request personal information from you via automated phone calls, texts, emails or social media
Sign up for email updates to be alerted of upcoming security workshops
Devices:
Update your devices regularly when new updates are issued (operating systems, apps, and software)
Set passwords for all devices to avoid being vulnerable if items are lost or stolen
Install anti-virus software on your devices, if applicable
Email:
Be mindful of suspicious emails asking for money or information
Do not click on any links or attachments in emails that you are not expecting
Hover your mouse over links you are sent in emails to see the source/sender of the email. Do not click the link if you don’t recognize the sender or notice a misspelling
Online Banking:
We protect your accounts with multi-layered authentication
Log out of online banking on any device after you have completed your business
Sign up for alerts in Online Banking (under Options, then Alerts) for account activity and transaction limits
