The ladies and gentlemen on the Field & Main Commercial Lending Team (along with everyone) have had a year they’ll not soon forget. The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was announced early in 2020, and the Commercial Lending Team realized very early that the program would be essential to helping our local businesses and their employees during a very difficult and unprecedented time.
Once PPP was launched, our team was honored to be able to help businesses acquire the necessary funding to keep hundreds of businesses afloat and their many thousands of employees paid amidst the pandemic. Now that those funds have been utilized, their focus has turned to helping our customers navigate through forgiveness process. As they did during the application phase, our lenders have worked diligently to understand the ins and outs of the process and aid our customers during this important final step.
